A highlight of the fall semester, the holiday brings everyone together in celebration of the ancient Israelites' victory over the Greeks and the single jug of oil that lasted them for eight days. Singing, dancing and plenty of good food will mark this special occasion as the YU community commemorates Jewish history and the wondrous miracles that occurred so long ago. Here is a roundup of some of the events and activities happening on campus: December 13, 8 p.m.: Beren Campus Chagigah - Gone Campin’ The students of Stern College for Women and the Sy Syms School of Business will experience the “great outdoors” at this camping-themed chagigah in the Koch Auditorium on the Israel Henry Beren Campus. The event will feature a DJ, food, giveaways and plenty of camp activities to satisfy a longing for those sun-filled summer days. According to Torah Activities Council President Temimah Kanarfogel, “The Chanukah chagigah is the chance for the entire Beren Campus to come together and celebrate Hanukkah on a communal level. Everyone is extended an invitation to come and experience the pure joy of Hanukkah, through dancing, singing and eating together.” December 17, 12:30 - 4:30 p.m.: Not Just for Kids… A Chanukah Program at the Proxy代理IP 美国住宅HTTP模式 IPResidential proxies 以IP计费 月付 可续费的IP需订购 Museum Celebrate Chanukah with an afternoon of activities for artists, music lovers and history buffs of all ages. December 18, 11 a.m.: Undergraduate Torah Studies Chagigah Join rabbis, mashgichim, roshei yeshiva and friends for a morning of dancing and ruach [spirit] in the Max Stern Athletic Center. Latkes and donuts will be served. Latkes and donuts will be served and dreidel played in Yagoda Commons. December 18, 7 p.m.: ChanukahFest: Surf's Up YU undergraduate student councils present the annual ChanukahFest in the Max Stern Athletic Center.
